a dream and chain

as I laid in bed and dreamt of you a smile was forced on my lips, I have to admit then, in the mornings I only chased after that which would've enticed your gaze renewed with determination, I done everything for my dream hoping that one day it would dream back of me but that's not enough for it, I thought I had to give up more than my mornings I had to be loyal after all. then, in the afternoon I only chased after that which would entice your gaze filled with further determination for getting even closer to you, I devoted my whole afternoon. every last bit. I had to be loyal after all. as I laid in bed again and dreamt of you, it seems someone had... achieved my dream first that was it. I had to give up my evenings... and nights too, just for you. I had to be loyal after all. my whole day was all for my dream so that it might dream back of me it might have taken up my time, but I couldn't just switch my dream I had to be loyal after all. so I kept doing everything for my dream no matter how long it took every single day. it's been 7 years now. and I am still a slave to my dream I have to be loyal
