a dog and lion
The dog may bark with all its might, A show of fear in day and night. Small children flee, a brief alarm, But dogs gain no true honor's charm. The lion waits, a silent king, No constant roar, no noisy thing. But when its call tears through the air, The dogs fall silent, filled with fear. A chatter mouth, a thoughtless sound, Like shallow water on the ground. But wisdom's voice is calm and deep, A promise it will always keep. For standing up for what is true, Is what a silent strength will do. Don't be a dog, so full of dread, Be a lion, with respect instead maturity is when when you understand this is not about dog and a lion
