A Devil's Bargain
Don't care what you think you know Sure seem to think you're in control Protect that illusion and hit the road Otherwise you'll be laid low Not threatening violence or ruling it out Even tempers are sorely tested by your mouth Stalked up on us as if hidden by a shroud A devil's bargain you should've turned down You think you're owed your retribution but unthinking hate is just pollution of your own better judgment and constitution No one here is guilty of what you're accusing Didn't bring the law cos you think it's you Rabid for revenge but think it through If what you've been told was remotely true why isn't there a single shred of proof Maybe suspect whoever aimed you this way Your rage makes you easy to manipulate Devils often show up wearing a friendly face Trouble you're in God can help you escape
