A deep dip into emotions
I rise before the sun can blink, With aching bones and no time to think, The weight I bear each passing day, Turns silent hopes into dust and gray. But the world demands more than this, Its taunts and laughter never miss, Behind each grin a hidden scar, My silent cries wage wars afar. The smile I wear is stitched in pain, A fragile shield against the rain, They see my steady stride, But not the storms I hold inside. They see not the cracks beneath, Nor the cries bury in deep sleep, I dream of rest I’ll never take, Beneath the ground, beyond the ache. I wear my hope like tattered thread, Sewn by words that I've left unsaid, Is there peace beyond this fight, A softer road, a gentler night?
