A decade's oath
A decade's breath has come and gone, Since our fateful promise drawn, Bound together, two souls entwined, Never to break, in love defined. One possessed the fiery red, One adorned in blue, it said, Exchanged with tender hearts belief, Love embedded, a sacred relief. The awaited day, it finally came, Love to share, proclaim our name, The promised binding, steadfast and true, Unbreakable, unwavering, our debut. Yet fate's cruel twist had other plans, The red jewel slipped from gentle hands, Taken by the maker's cold embrace, Leaving the blue jewel in lonely grace. Six feet deep, her better half resides, The promise fulfilled, where love abides, With the blue jewel held by her departed, The red jewel's recipient now brokenhearted. Yearning to fill the void within, Seeking solace where memories begin, In the depths of sorrow, a new quest lies, To heal and find our love's reprise. A promise unbroken, In a journey of love, a bond unspoken. @pearls_ink💫💙
