One day, is what I yearn for; For I don’t deserve two Nothing less, Nothing more The entirety of 24 hours Possibly ashore, Spending my moments with you. The day permeated with long talks, laughter, and joy, I hope. That is if I manage to remain calm and not freeze or stutter. That is if you don't make me nervous like you usually do. That is if I can look you in the eyes and resist the urge to describe the vast expanse of my love for you because it'll just scare you away. I have been dying to tell you for ages but It'd do me more harm than good. I know you're not into me, that I'm not your type but just looking at you is the highlight of my day. If only the feelings were mutual. You are my nepenthe against my suffering even if you're the root of it. But I'll never blame you. I put myself in this position by choosing to love you. I just yearn for a day in which It's only me and you.
