A Day for Love
A marked day, the night awaited, Soft whispers dance in candle’s glow. The embers of love, from young to old, In hearts aflame, they bloom and grow. Time stands still and painted red, The heavens cheered when lovers met. A day so precious, a priceless rune, Bathed in love’s enchanted tune. Once a year, the world ignites, With tender words and sweet delight. Love notes penned with earnest hands, Sealed with kisses and softly caressed. The young will grasp their fingers tight, With trembling touch, with eyes so bright. They dream of love yet to be told, Of stories waiting to unfold. While those whose years have come and passed, Find love in silence, deep and vast. No need for words, no grand display, Just knowing looks that softly say: "In Sickness and in Health, 'till Death Do Us Part, Our love, steadfast, and will never drift apart . A flame unyielding, forever true, This love, my dear, is home with you."
