A Dark Confession
The dark man's waiting patiently. He's standing by the door. His arms are open graciously, Just as they were before. "You'll feel much lighter, safe in bed." He says as I draw near. And oh, how I'd be his to wed, Too easily, I fear. I know the kindness in his face, The mercy in his eyes. I know that in his dwelling place, Is where my peace resides. Despite this, he must wait for me, Dawdling, as I do. For his love is a certainty. I think I love him too.
