A dance of Love and Hate pt2
I hate that you try too hard to be there for me, Sometimes forgetting your own feelings. But every time I say something about it, You say it's okay. Brushing aside your own emotions, In a selfless display. I hate that you sacrifice so much, your own needs pushed aside, As you strive to comfort and support me, Your own pain you hide. I long for you to acknowledge your needs, And your desires too, To find a balance between us, So let's rewrite this tale, my love, with Understanding and grace, Where we both thrive together, In our own shared space. That way even though I hate many things about you, I still love you because you are you. For I hate and love these complexities, They're part of our dance, But with communication and compromise, we'll find our balance.
