A cry From the Depths
In the abyss of anguish, I find myself lost, A soul tormented, worn by life's tempestuous cost. The weight of pain bears down, a crushing force, Leaving me breathless, with a heart that's lost its course. I've prayed, yet silence echoes, an unanswered plea, A search for solace, but none seem to see. I'm left alone, in this desolate land, A stranger to comfort, with a heart that's grand. The smile I wear, a facade, a disguise, A mask to hide the tears that fall like autumn's surprise. I'm weary, Lord, my strength is spent, My bones are weak, my spirit bent. I cry out to You, Yahuah, Yahawashai, with a voice so worn, "I am tired of being tired, my soul is torn." The burden's heavy, the load's too great, I'm holding on, but it's hard to participate. In this wilderness of pain, I'm searching for a way, A path to healing, a dawn to end this darkest day. My heart cries out for respite, for an end to this strife, A chance to breathe, to live, to find some peace in life. Yet, in the midst of this turmoil, I'll hold on to faith, A glimmer of hope, a light in this darkest of nights. For I know, Lord, that You are near, A refuge for the weary, a haven from fear.
