A cry at night
In the silence of night, alone I stand, My heart in pieces, no strength in my hand. Eyes swollen with tears, my soul feels weak, O Allah, it’s Your comfort I seek. The world is heavy, I stumble, I fall, To You, my Creator, I give it all. Beneath the stars, in the still of the night, I raise my hands, searching for light. O Merciful One, my heart feels pain, I’m broken, weary, lost in this rain. You are the Healer, the All-Knowing Guide, Hold me close, let my tears subside. With whispers so soft, I call Your name, Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, take away this shame. I feel so alone, yet I know You are near, Listening closely to each silent tear. My sins are many, my faith feels so small, But in Your mercy, I find hope through it all. Grant me peace, ease the weight in my chest, In Your presence, I find my rest. O Allah, in Your hands my soul finds its place, Wrap me in mercy, surround me in grace.
