A Children’s Day Reminder
Remember when a cardboard box could be a castle or a spaceship, and a puddle wasn't a nuisance but a whole entire ocean to cross? You used to look at the world with your eyes wide open, expecting a miracle around every corner. Somewhere between growing up and learning how to check the time, we forget how to just 'be'. But today is a reminder to slow down, to look at the clouds and see shapes again, instead of just forecasting rain. So here is to the sticky fingers, the scraped knees, and the loud, unfiltered laughs. May you never lose that wild curiosity, and may the kid inside you always find a reason to come out and play.
