A Burnt Out World
Oh, how joy fails to catch wind of sorrow. A day of tensity and sadness, always ends not with resolution, but with solemnity. Hostility & ill-intent plagues the vicinity. Not once do they ponder on morality. A game of selfishness and insecurity I, too, often catch myself playing. Recently, only the simplest things, such as the excitement of a dog, or a cup of coffee, seem to bring me peace.
