A broken promise

It all started like a joke, which leads to laughter,but never knew what was next I then asked about it, and they were like what do you mean! I ignored and we continued with our jokes, I asked again and still no response. After we were done I asked with a lot of seriousness they just told me never to follow them anywhere. I said to myself it's fine no one cares!
