A breath
Stop, please, don't answer the text Don't come Don't do it to me please Just go, And back to talk about your life–whatever you like. I beg you, though I shouldn't have to Why did I betray myself? Since when are you insensitive to my fragility? Were I? Are you? Without explaining it could be closer to reality Can't I understand your language now? Perhaps you and I just spoke the language of the passion Passing through this station This hope called "love" is more than this. Why are you so noble? You are amazing You don't have to change a thing But please, I'm begging you to come more often I can't say it by myself right now; I recognize my boundaries Please, I love you But go for a walk Leave me crying here Until my tears stops, Just like when children are weaned When your legs ache, please come back– Tell me your history while you dry my tears. Let it be soon, but enough. I'm not asking you to leave me; Just take a breath, And don't bring me with you. I know you are strong enough To cross the streets or walk more road. Itching on my body, Stress in my mind– You know I'm not weak, Just a little less strong than you. Don't worry, I've had practice crying and having nightmares.
