A Break
I am tired of this world and its demands, Its expectations and its harsh commands. I need a break from the chaos and the noise, From the constant hustle and the endless poise. I long for a moment of peace and quiet, A chance to breathe and to reconnect with my spirit. To wander in nature, to feel the sun on my skin, To listen to the birds sing and the leaves rustle within. I need to escape from the fast-paced life, To slow down and find comfort in the simple, unripe. To read a book, to write a verse, to paint a picture, To indulge in the hobbies that make my heart richer. I am tired of the never-ending race, Of trying to keep up with the world's quickening pace. I need a break to rediscover my purpose and passion, To find my way back to my true inner fashion. So let me retreat into my own sacred space, Where I can be myself, in my own grace. Let me rest, recharge, and renew, For I am tired, and I need a break too.
