A bloody battle at night
Blood dripping from your sword Not saying a single word Facing your biggest enemy Yourself Battling to see who controls who Fighting to see who is true Your fight or flight Your wrong or right Your darkness or light Gazing into pitch black eyes of the devil you call yourself But there's a story to tell on one's shelf Whether you come from a family of greed Whether you come from one who's in need You always looking for a place to belong A place you been looking for for so long A place to call home One that's not in a dome You swing your sword They clash and clank You put on your scared face when frankly, you're waiting for your ace You find an opening And swing at it You start seeing blood Drip, Drip, Drip Dripping from your enemy And your sword You won The fight is done As night breaks into dawn You give a yawn Covered in blood Yet only thoughts flood Did you do the right thing Or did you do the wrong thing Your cuts start to sting You close your eyes excepting your victory Even if it was wrong or right The bloody battle at night
