A Bleeding Heart.
As I lay in bed, tears streamed down my face, hitting my pillow with a soft thud. I gazed upon the rising moon, feeling a deep sense of sorrow that seemed to consume me. I clasped my hands in prayer and asked God why I was feeling this way. Was I not worthy of happiness? As I prayed, my tears continued to fall, dampening my pillow. At that moment, my heart poured out, and I heard a voice that seemed to come from within me. It said, "My dear child, do not despair. You are gifted with the ability to feel deeply and to heal those around you. Your sorrow is a sign of your strength, not your weakness. You will soon learn the true extent of your powers, and your heart will be healed, just as you have healed others." The voice filled me with a sense of peace and comfort, and I knew that everything would be alright. I closed my eyes and let the tears flow, knowing that I was not alone and that my gift would help me find my way through the darkness.
