A blade to subside the pain
In the silence of a lonely night I stare at my wrist with blade in sight But then I think of love and light The people who care, the future bright The pain I'm in, will it subside? With time, with help, I'll step aside From the thoughts that haunt my mind And find solace in a love that's kind A love that's mine, a heart that's true A reflection of the love I hold for you But Yet again I remember the blade in my bloody hand But this time, I choose to lay it down, to stand To face the pain, to heal, to mend To find a new path, a new beginning to tend Family issues or pressure?, both is what brings me to the measure Family ties that bind, expectations that weigh A heavy heart, a soul that's tired of life But still I search for a glimmer of grace A chance to break free, to find my own pace But yet again i remember the blade
