A Beautifully Sculpted Day
There is something different about those same eyes of yesterday, It glowed with darkness and agonized in pain. It was screaming your name, But you didn't think too much about being the aid. But I'm sure you're used to seeing all that fade, At the end of a beautifully sculpted day. I had thought I'd gotten immune to all the pain, But the screams always got louder and drove me insane. The amount of time I've sought help has left my brain, Because no one has really cared enough to see past my facade. I have many faces and a multilayer heart, As it works best with me, And is my specialty in art. My many faces has never left me alone, It always made sure that I had something to call my own. Even though I'm driven by agony and pain, I make sure that I keep smiling, So no one would even think of fighting. Life has its messy ways, And is good at making me see in a daze. But even so I'm sure you're used to seeing all that fade, At the end of a beautifully sculpted day.
