7 sins
7 sins: Gluttony, my friend, I bend to thy will Stuffing my face is such a thrill The weight that grows therein after Is met with mirth and laughter. Wrath, my enemy, I pray to your feet I pray deeply that we'll never meet Im frightened you will raise the blade And change me into a violent charade Pride you dont come here much But when you do i prefer your touch To that of a woman, man or child Pride youve made me strange and wild Greed is to living as Gluttony is to death I try to balance both in galumptious breath The best of both worlds isnt the truth Its living one from the bare bones of youth Lust is just hot blood drying in the sun Its not borne of love, a bullet from a gun I barely have the energy for a measure Moments of madness in pleasure Envy, sweet Envy my greenest garble Words fall out my mouth and marbles Lost, I can never get back your shade Unless I open up my heart, unafraid Sloth is the winter season slowed down I wear my slippers with sin and a gown Its not to my liking but a sin can heal And set you off down the lines on a wheel.
