7 deadly sins
Growing up I learned of the 7 deadly sins, Lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. But the last two stuck out to me, like a spot of red in a wave of blue. Envy is so perplexing, and if it's true, I commit this sin daily. And I think most do. When you're gazing at the beautiful people in magazines you think, "Why not me?" And pride is just as perplexing, maybe even more, Because people say "Be you. Be brave. And be Proud" But if we're proud, doesn't that mean we shouldn't be? And maybe, just maybe, They named these two this so that we can't be us. We won't feel safe. And I know I speak these words a plenty, but find your home. No matter how many of these sins you commit, find it. Find your village, Find your light in the dark, Find you. And don't worry about the rubble of the world crashing down around you, I will be your shield. I will let nothing even graze your skin. But even if something did, it wouldn't affect the beauty that is you Even if you're still looking for yourself, Don't give up in the search. Turn over every rock no matter how small, Even if it's as small as a pebble or as large as a mountain.
