7-13-2017
In 7 years, I will have all new cells, tastebuds, a whole new body. I don't want that. I don't wanna forget your chair, You calling me 'boy', I don't wanna forget throwing pop-its in your driveway. I am afriad if my cells forget you, I will. I didn't cry on 7-13-2017, The day you died. Nor did I cry on 7-17-2017, The day of your funeral. But I cry now Now that I'm old enough to understand, To understand what happened, And why it had to happen. I will remember you And how you helped me to become a Christian.
