5)The Yoga of Renunciation
Arjuna’s doubts still linger on, “Which path is best to journey on? Renunciation or the deed, Which way will truly lead?” Krishna smiles, his voice so clear, “Both paths are noble, have no fear. But action selfless, duty’s call, Leads quicker to the highest goal. The sage who acts with heart detached, In spirit’s peace, is fully matched. Renounce desires, and ego’s claim, In selfless deeds, you’ll find your flame. In work or rest, the wise are free, In inner joy, serenity. For they see Brahman everywhere, In every act, in every prayer. Arjuna, embrace your duty’s role, In selfless service, find your soul. With mind serene and heart so pure, In every action, find your cure.” So in our lives, let duty guide, In selfless work, let truth abide. Renounce desires, let ego cease, In every act, we’ll find our peace.
