As I try to pass by the shallow depths of our memories, I can’t help but look back at the abundance of forgeries. How it felt like you faked loving me for your epiphanies, It felt like a fleeting dream of throbbing pain and savageries. It was a wild ride, but it doesn’t mean it was a fine lie, Is it such a marvel to make someone fall for your white lies? Was it entertaining for you to waste my time? Did I amuse you with my dumb cries? How I hoped you’d tell me sooner before I cried. It was such a blissful moment to find someone with the same amusement, But I didn’t think that I’d pay with my sanity and pain. It was such a well-crafted lie, I felt the days pass by as we both fly, Did you accidentally clip your wings and die? That’s why you left me hanging, just for you to lie. And now, as I stand here with the remnants of your deceit, I find solace in the fact that I can finally break free. No longer held captive by your fabricated reality, I embrace the truth and move forward with clarity.
