4th Of Ju-Lies
Today we celebrate our Independence Day OR not. Let us not be blinded by the bright colors of the fireworks, a spectacle that we as children loved, once upon a time. Once upon a time, we were so ignited by, insight into the vague details of the American dream. Once upon a time, I was that child, I was that hopeful, excited, delighted child... Until I was dragged into the abyss, screaming for someone, anyone to help me... Until I aged but at the same time I didn't, too much prudence and grace I instilled myself, connected to the world but not connected to depravity. The bursts, the displays, used to make me smile, but now I just want quiet for a while. No longer do I care about, who has clout, who whines, who pouts, who kisses the toes of the followers of Kraus, All I want to do is...shout. I want to shout, from the vantage point, where I can see everything the masses are missing... Home is where my heart is, and my heart is not connected to this place, this place of fake profiles, toxic feminism, short bursts of fame, and dissemination of the truth, so simple and powerful. I won't say INdependence Day, I will call it Dependence Day, because they have made us dependent on them to survive.
