you left me like a forgotten candle, burning away in an empty house. the wax flowing onto the mantel, taking many different routes. the walls around me collapse. I run out of wax to burn. I search for anything, even scrapes. I wait for your return.. in the end, the house catches fire. you are nowhere to be seen. the flames burn higher and higher. you were only fifteen.
